Our editorial standards
Savoresque exists to help you cook with confidence. This page explains how our guides and recipes are created, checked and kept up to date — so you know exactly what to expect from us.
How we choose topics
We focus on the questions home cooks genuinely ask: how to master core techniques, how to choose and use ingredients, why recipes work, and what to look for in kitchen equipment. Topics are selected using search data and reader interest.
How our guides are made
Our content is produced using a structured process that combines AI tools with defined quality checks:
- Research and drafting. Each guide is researched and drafted with the help of AI writing tools, following a strict brief: clear steps, accurate quantities, plain language and no invented facts, statistics, studies or health claims.
- Fact-checking. Every draft goes through a separate fact-checking step that verifies specific claims — cooking temperatures, times, measurements, food science and ingredient facts — against reputable sources on the web. Claims that cannot be verified are removed or rewritten.
- Food safety review. Guides are checked for missing or incorrect food safety information, including safe internal temperatures, storage, cross-contamination and common allergens.
- Quality review. Guides are scored for usefulness, clarity and structure. Anything below our standard is revised or not published.
- Publishing. Only guides that pass every check are published.
About our recipes
Our recipes are built on well-established cooking methods and checked for accuracy and food safety. They are not individually tested in a test kitchen. Ovens, ingredients and equipment vary, so use the times and temperatures as a guide, check for doneness, and adjust to taste.
Images
Images on Savoresque are generated with AI image tools to illustrate each topic. They are representative illustrations, not photographs of the finished recipe, and may not show the exact result you’ll get.
Food safety and health
Our content is general information, not medical or nutritional advice. Always check labels for allergens, follow safe handling and cooking guidance, and consult a qualified professional for dietary or medical needs. Food safety rules and recommendations can differ by country — follow your local guidance.
